Booking Policies

Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to confirm all bookings and to secure dates.

Cancellation Policy: In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled reservation, the following applies: 25% of the total cost will be charged if a booking is cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival. Should cancellation be made within 7 days of arrival there will be a 100% surcharge for the room nights cancelled. We strongly advise guests to take out travel insurance to protect themselves against unexpected changes to their travel plans.

Children Policy: While welcome families and children, booking for families with young children may need to be  co-ordinated with other bookings.

Non-Smoking Policy: The well-being and comfort of all our guests at Flowerpot Bay Lodge is important to us, therefore we have a non-smoking policy that applies within the Lodge.

Medical needs: While there is a registered nurse on the Island for emergencies, visitors should always bring ample supplies of specialist medicines, even if only a day visitor. On very rare occasions, it is possible to get stuck on the Island for several days. Please advise Lodge management when making your booking if you require special assistance.

Insurance: We strongly suggest that all guests take out their own travel insurance. If you don't already have travel insurance, you can get a quote online through Travel Insurance Cover
